The VES U/M MAXX is a high-capacity undermount DC air conditioning system designed for demanding installations in vans, RVs, boats, commercial vehicles, and off-grid applications.

Built for applications where maximum cooling capacity and flexible component placement are important, the VES U/M MAXX features a remote-mounted compressor assembly, allowing the compressor to be installed inside or outside the vehicle or vessel.

The 48V VES U/M MAXX uses a single compressor and single electronics box and delivers approximately 16,000–20,000 BTU of cooling capacity.

Evaporator Options

The VES U/M MAXX can be configured with either one high-capacity MAXX evaporator or two smaller evaporatorsto provide the airflow required by the MAXX system.

Choose from the following configurations:

One MAXX Evaporator – High-output, approximately 600 CFM, non-ducted evaporator for maximum airflow from a single location.
Two ICEBOX Evaporators – Dual ducted evaporators for distributing conditioned air through multiple vents or areas.
Two ULTRA Evaporators – Dual compact non-ducted evaporators for flexible placement and improved air distribution.
One ICEBOX + One ULTRA Evaporator – Combines a ducted ICEBOX with a compact non-ducted ULTRA for installations that benefit from two different air-delivery styles.

The dual-evaporator configurations allow the two evaporators to be positioned in different areas of the vehicle or vessel, providing greater flexibility in airflow distribution and interior layout.

Powerful Cooling with Flexible Mounting Options

The modular design of the VES U/M MAXX allows the compressor, condenser, evaporator system, and electronics to be positioned independently.

The compressor mounting brackets are designed with mounting points on both the top and bottom of the compressor assembly. This allows the compressor to be mounted upright on a floor, shelf, or platform, or suspended using the upper mounting points for installation underneath a vehicle or inside a cabinet.

Depending on the evaporator configuration selected, evaporators can be installed in overhead cabinets, lower cabinets, equipment compartments, or other protected interior locations.

Dual-evaporator configurations also allow conditioned air to be distributed to different areas of the vehicle or vessel for improved airflow and temperature distribution.

The VES U/M MAXX provides approximately 16,000–20,000 BTU of cooling capacity while keeping valuable rooftop space available.
