TinyFest Southwest

Our Experience at TinyFest Southwest

We attended our first show! We had a vendor booth at TinyFest Southwest in Scottsdale, Arizona. We got to meet tiny home builders, van and bus upfitters, and tons of nomads who have “gone tiny”. We were able to see vans and buses that had our air conditioners in them, and learn more about how they used our units.

Attending TinyFest was a great opportunity for us to meet with some of our favorite people who we work with in the van world. It was our first time meeting many people in person, including Jarrod Tocci, Sydney Ferbache, Dominique Ritche, and many more. We were able to tour some of the vans built by companies we work with. We saw the beautiful woodwork in Nomadik Customs vans and the stunning colors and interior details in Tiny Planet vans. Touring these vans allowed us to see how they use our air conditioners, and how we can better help them in their van build processes.

At our booth, we had three display carts. Each cart showcased one of our units. We did this so that attendees could see the sizes of the pieces that come with the unit. This would help them in the design process, if they were to purchase a unit. We also brought our Cruise N Comfort “ICE VAN”. The ICE VAN is a play on Top Gun’s Ice Man. The ICE VAN is a Ram Promaster, which we had logoed for the show. We are in the process of building this van out. In addition to our ICE VAN, we brought a van from ACI Vans. ACI Vans is a van build company who is also based in the Phoenix area (just like us). We work very closely with ACI Vans, and they use our products, so we thought it would be a great opportunity to showcase how a CNC A/C works. ACI lent us their sleek Sprinter Van with dark tones and epoxy counter tops. In this ACI Van, there is one of our ICEBOX air conditioners. It was a great opportunity for us to display the unit in use.

Overall TinyFest was a great experience for us as a company. We not only got to showcase our products, but we met so many new people. We were able to catch up with some of the van builders we work with and learned so much more about tiny living. TinyFest did a great job at hosting an event with vendors, builders, nomads, and even speaker presentations. They even had live music. The “Nomad Village” was full of tiny home builders and the tiny homes they live in. Touring these tiny homes gave us more insight into what living tiny actually looks like. TinyFest Southwest is a great event and we can’t wait for next year’s TinyFest! Hope to see you there!

About Cruise N Comfort

Cruise N Comfort is a small, family owned and operated business. We have been manufacturing true battery-powered A/C units right here in the United States since 2006. The heart of each of our units is an American made true DC powered compressor that makes our systems powerful and efficient. Unlike some other air conditioners on the market, we do not cut corners and offer low quality imported compressors or automotive 12 volt power hungry high amp compressors. Our products are truly DC battery-powered and can be installed in many different applications without taking up valuable roof space for solar panels. We offer 12, 24, and 48 volt options in a variety of footprints to meet almost any of your cooling needs.

We believe in the products we make. We love hearing from customers and would love to help you find the unit best fit for you. We offer great customer support every step of the way, from purchasing to installing. We test every unit before it is shipped out to ensure that is up to our high quality standards. All of our units are built to order, and we take pride in building our units here in the United States. We are based in Phoenix, so we know how important a quality air conditioner can be, and we are here to provide that for you.

Save Roof Space, use a Cruise N Comfort

Save roof space, use a Cruise N Comfort

At Cruise N Comfort, we understand how valuable roof space can be. We believe rooftop space should be saved for solar panels and storage, that’s why we offer mini split systems. Our condensers can be mounted underneath the vehicle, to avoid taking up any roof space. The compressor and the evaporators then mount on the inside of the vehicle. Our air conditioners are built with a small space saving design. We offer different options and sizes to best fit your build. We want to save us much space as possible and avoid cutting holes in the roof for a rooftop A/C.
